Coming back from a long weekend, I noticed that the last comment I posted was regarding Hellewell's efforts to further theocratize public schools. The Tribune's reports over the last few days over the declining Mormon population in Utah will hopefully rightly relegate Hellewell and like-minded folks to batsh_t crazy Utah Valley zealot garbage.

What I think was the most interesting tidbit from this reporting was the fact that Utah County, which is a large, urban county, is still like %75 LDS. So does this mean that a new homeland is in the midst and that Salt Lake County has been written off by the faithful? Has the center of Zion become too worldly? Are good upstanding LDS folk fleeing the stench of wickedness that lies between the Wasatch and the Oquirrhs?
